This stunning decorative, unique handwoven basket is part of the traditions of the Eperaara Siapidaara indigenous nationality in Guapi, Cauca, in Colombia, where the Cannans are located.

This community is responsible for obtaining through a natural dyeing process using flowers and plants. Once this process is finished, they are exposed to the sun to dry, and weaving begins, inspired by fauna and their vision of the world and made in a sustainable, eco-friendly way.

Each basket is unique because it is the result of days or even months of work.
